Christen is the Lab Manager at the Cognition, Language, Sound Symbolism, Iconicity (CLaSSI) Lab. She recently graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and hopes to someday pursue a career in Clinical Psychology. Her thesis explored the effects of gender on the efficacy of expressive writing interventions for reducing math-related intrusive thoughts. Her research interests are broad, and in the past, she has worked on projects related to math and financial anxiety, sexual assault in Canadian law, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
